I love my obese tuxedo cat Missy so much. She is 12 years old and may only have 1-2 years before she gets feline diabetes, excuses herself to a remote corner of the house, and quietly passes on. This is devastating. She helped me write my thesis. She’s seen me through all the life tragedies one can experience by 25. I love when her ears turn inside out.

When I was getting my coffee, a blue collar gentleman - probably a woodcutter or something - told me I was pretty and got me a gingerbread man “for Christmas.”
I didn’t have the heart to tell him I’m a rabid atheist of Jewish blood trying to cut down on my sugar intake.
I ate the gingerbread anyway because I have NO SELF CONTROL.
