I love my obese tuxedo cat Missy so much. She is 12 years old and may only have 1-2 years before she gets feline diabetes, excuses herself to a remote corner of the house, and quietly passes on. When I was getting my coffee, a blue collar gentleman - probably a woodcutter or something - told me I was pretty and got me a gingerbread man “for Christmas.”  I didn’t have the heart to tell him I’m a rabid atheist of Jewish blood trying to cut down on my sugar intake.  I ate the gingerbread anyway because I have NO SELF CONTROL.
